Unlike the pattern for traditional devotions (although not as universal as the some people claim), the Charismatic movement is not bringing some new insight to the church, but rather is causing us to return to the fountainhead of the spiritual life, namely the personal encounter with the risen Lord and His poured-forth Spirit.
So our patron saints would be folks like St. Peter and St. Paul.
