The Holy Rosary

The Scriptural Rosary: Variations on a Theme

A prayer (say this prayer once at the start of the Rosary all together):
Heavenly Father, I have been hurt by many people over the years and the wounds often remain fresh and painful in my heart. I often find it difficult to forgive them their transgressions, but I realize that with my inability to forgive, it is I who really suffers. So please grant me the grace to be able to forgive all those who have sinned against me, and hold no resentment or bitterness or anger in my heart anymore. I make this prayer in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Our Father ...
Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
(Matthew 6:11)
Hail Mary ...
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
(Matthew 6:14-15)
Hail Mary ...
Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
(Matthew 18:20-21)
Hail Mary ...
"Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”
(Matthew 18:32-35)
Hail Mary ...
“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
(Matthew 5:23-24)
Hail Mary ...
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
(Mark 11:25)
Hail Mary ...
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
(Luke 6:37)
Hail Mary ...
Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us
(Luke 11:4)
Hail Mary ...
So watch yourselves. “If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.”
(Luke 17:3-4)
Hail Mary ...
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
(Col. 3:13)
Hail Mary ...
Glory be ...

Oh my Jesus ...
