The Redemptorists

The Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, popularly known as the Redemptorists, is an order of the Roman Catholic Church comprising missionaries, priests, brothers and students, who live and work in more than seventy nations. The Congregation was founded by Saint Alphonsus Liguori in 1732 with a special mission to follow the example of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer, by preaching the word of God to the poor. Last year they numbered more than 5,500 professed members, who bound themselves to God by means of the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience together with the vow and oath of perseverance. Holy Spirit Interactive is pleased to present: The Redemptorists.
