Material for the Advent Wreath
INSTRUCTIONS
TO MAKE THE ADVENT WREATH:
1. Cut a
cardboard ring of around 10 inches diameter.
Colour the ring green, OR
use green strips of crepe paper to wrap around the ring, making
sure to overlap the layers as you go. This will ensure that the
ring is completely covered with green
paper.
2. Glue the bottle caps
to the under surface of the wreath ( like a stand ) to
raise the wreath to a higher level.
3. Glue on green shredded
paper and some trimmings, such as
artificial mistletoe, holly and pine cones from last year's
decorations. Of course, this is optional, and only
serves to make the wreath a little
festive.
4. Glue the base of the
candles to the wreath securely!
Use tall and thick candles to prevent early
burn-out.
