How Did God Make Adam And Eve?
God made Adam and Eve, the first human beings, by using material that he had already made. God formed Adam just the way he wanted him to look and then brought Adam to life. God made Eve from part of Adam so that she would match him perfectly.
The time came when the Lord God formed a man's body. He made it from the dust of the ground. Then he breathed into it the breath of life. And man became a living person....Then the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. He took one of the man's ribs. Then he closed up the place from which he had taken it. Then he made the rib into a woman, and brought her to the man.

Note to Parents
A young child's concrete understanding can be a barrier to understanding this because the creation of Adam and Eve was a miracle. Explaining it as such may be the best approach, especially if your child is asking about the exact process that God used.
