The Funny Bone: Week 08
Sharing is Caring
Catching her in the act, I asked my 3-year-old daughter, "Are you eating your little sister's grapes?"
"No," she innocently replied, "I'm helping her share."
Little Johnny went with his mom and dad to his grandmother's house for dinner. When little Johnny received his plate he started eating right away.
"Johnny, wait until we say our prayer," said his mother.
"I don't have to," the boy replied.
"Of course, you do," his mother insisted. "We say a prayer before eating at our house."
"That's our house," Johnny explained. "But this is Grandma's house. She knows how to cook!"
Kyle and Justin were about to eat with the baby-sitter when 6 year old Kyle said, "You can't sit in Daddy's seat!"
"Daddy's not home," the babysitter replied. "Since I'm responsible for you while he's gone, I can sit here. Today I'm the boss."
Justin, the 4 year old, quickly piped up, "If you're the boss, you sit over there -- in Mommy's chair!"
Mike went to the doctor to get a vaccination. After the shot, the doctor pulled out a band-aid and started to cover the spot on his arm. Mike asked him to put it on the other arm.
"But, I put it over where you got the shot to let others know that it's tender and they shouldn't touch it," replied the doctor.
"You really don't know much about little boys, do you?" said Mike.
John was surprised to find his young nephew, Timmy, helping to bake the cupcakes. After they were done, Timmy was allowed to put the icing on.
When he had finished, he brought them to the table.
"These cupcakes look delicious, Tim." his uncle said, as he took a large bite.
"Timmy these are so good. How did you get them iced so evenly?"
"I licked them" Timmy replied innocently.
