Things2Make: Foil Flower
by Bob Shaw
Materials:
Tin or kitchen foil.
Instructions:
Cut out 6 small rectangles and one long thin section of foil. Fold the rectangles up as shown. Fold and twist the long section of foil into a tight round stem. Place 5 of the 6 petals on top of each other. Position them 2/3rds up the stem and fold the stem over the top of the petals to hold them in place. Add the leaf and twist the stem around it. Finally unfold the petals (Gently blow into them) and leaf to make a pretty little flower.
Hints:
The flower can be made any size. Make sure your stem is twice as long as you require the finished object. Use the green 'jello' buttons to pause and play the animation!
