Randy Hofman

Randy Hofman was born in D.C., but faithfully visited Ocean City every summer with his family as a child. After a short advertising and marketing career in New York, Hofman decided to move to Ocean City and that is where he met Marc Altamar, whom of which taught him the art of sculpting sand. In 1981, when his teacher moved away to Florida, Hofman became the official ocean city sand sculptor. At the age of 53, Hofman creates and manages many beautiful sand sculptors, which are inspired by his faith in Christ.
