What Is His Name? Leader Guidelines
Objective: Introduce the youth to some of the names of Jesus in the Bible.
Group Ages:
13 – 25 years

Indoors/Outdoors
Equipment Needed:
- 1 Activity Sheet per participant
- 1 pencil
- Optional clipboard as a backing for the activity sheets.
Pre-Activity Set-Up:
None.
Directions:
- Divide the youth into groups.
- Distribute the ‘What Is His Name?’ Activity Sheet and a pencil to each participant.
- Read out the activity to the group.
- Explain that only the vowels in the names of Jesus have been given. The youth must decipher which are the missing consonants that will complete the names.
- Assign 20 minutes for the Activity.
The youth may struggle with some of the names. Give them clues by referring them to scriptures that contain these names. This activity generates a lot of interest as the youth start to discover the names for themselves.
