Perseverance: Leader Guidelines
Objective: Help the youth understand the meaning and the importance of perseverence in day-to-day life.

Equipment Needed:
- Decks of cards
Pre-Activity Set-Up:
Nil
Directions:
- Divide the youth into groups.
- Hand out a deck of cards to each group telling them that they have to make a house out of the cards. The group that makes the highest house wins.
- Assign 10 minutes for the entire activity.
- Discuss the learning outcomes with the groups. One of the lessons (there are several here) is Perseverance.
Youth discover how it takes persistance to get to achieving something great.
