Bible Mime!
Objective: An activity to help youth ease up with each other, while having loads of fun.

Pre-Activity Set-Up:
Prepare a list of Bible themes (The Ten Commandments, The Walls of Jericho, The Red Sea) or a list of Bible characters (Jonah, Moses, Abraham, Noah, etc.) and write them out on separate pieces of paper. The total number should equal the number of youth present.
Directions:
Divide the youth into two teams.
Call one member from one of the teams and give him one of the themes or characters.
He has to mime the theme and the members of his team has to guess it within a minute. If they get the answer right, they get two points. Else it passed onto the other team, who get one point if they get it right.
Proceed this way until every member has a turn.
Note: This small activity gets the group animated, while helping new members settle down. You can use this ice-breaker as a main activity too, talking about the characters or theme in more detail.
